El uso selectivo de la recaptación de serotonina (Isrs) ha sido asociado con alteración de la función plaquetaria. Petequias, púrpura, equimosis, aumento de los tiempos de sangrado, epistaxis y hemorragia gastrointestinal han sido reportados. La terapia con Isrs debe ser administrado con precaución en pacientes con problemas graves de sangrado activo o diátesis hemorrágica.
