Consumidor:

Grave miopatía, incluyendo rabdomiólisis con insuficiencia renal aguda secundaria a mioglobinuria, se ha reportado raramente con el uso de derivados del ácido fíbrico. La miopatía puede estar relacionada con la dosis y se caracteriza por dolor en los músculos y/o debilidad en conjunción con el aumento de la creatina fosfoquinasa (CPK) los valores superior a 10 veces el límite superior de la normalidad. La terapia con derivados del ácido fíbrico debe ser administrado con precaución en pacientes con historial de miopatía o un myoneural trastorno, ya que puede retrasar el reconocimiento o confundir el diagnóstico de una droga-inducida musculoesquelético efecto. Los pacientes deben ser advertidos para que informe de inmediato cualquier inusual dolor de músculo, ternura, o debilidad, particularmente si se acompaña de malestar o fiebre. Periódico determinaciones de CPK puede ser considerado en algunos pacientes, aunque el valor de dicho control es incierto. La terapia debe ser retirado si marcadamente elevados niveles de creatina-fosfocinasa ocurrir o si la droga relacionados con miopatía se diagnostica o se sospecha.
