El micofenolato mofetil (inactivo) se somete completa presistémica metabolismo activo MPA , además, el metabolismo de las formas inactivas, algunos de los cuales sufren circulación enterohepática la producción de un segundo pico de la MPA. La cirrosis alcohólica (células de parénquima daño) no parece afectar el metabolismo de la MPA a formas inactivas. La enfermedad hepática/disfunción debido a otras etiologías pueden inducir efectos diferentes.
