Consumidor:En general, el uso de agentes anticolinérgicos está contraindicado en pacientes con retención urinaria y obstrucción del cuello de la vejiga causada por la hipertrofia prostática benigna. La disuria puede ocurrir y puede requerir un cateterismo. Además, los fármacos anticolinérgicos pueden agravar parcial de la uropatía obstructiva. Se recomienda precaución incluso cuando el uso de agentes con leve a moderada actividad anticolinérgica, particularmente en pacientes de edad avanzada.
