Consumidor:

Fenotiazinas con poca frecuencia pueden causar toxicidad hematológica, incluyendo agranulocitosis, trombocitopenia, eosinofilia, anemia aplásica, púrpura, granulocitopenia y anemia hemolítica. Leucopenia leve puede ocurrir con frecuencia con grandes dosis durante períodos prolongados, pero es generalmente reversible a pesar del tratamiento continuado. La terapia con fenotiazinas debe ser administrado con cautela, en todo caso, en pacientes con historial de discrasias sanguíneas o supresión de la médula ósea. Los hemogramas completos deben ser obtenidos con regularidad, y los pacientes deben ser instruidos para reportar inmediatamente cualquier signo o síntoma sugestivo de discrasia sanguínea, tales como fiebre, dolor de garganta, infección, sangrado, palidez, mareos, o ictericia. La mayoría de los casos de agranulocitosis se han producido entre la cuarta y la décima semanas de terapia.
